Lauren was born and raised in Morgantown, West Virginia. She is a 2009 graduate of West Virginia University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations and Political Science.

Lauren has a diverse background, beginning her career with West Virginia Radio Corporation while still a student at Morgantown High School, in 2003. After graduating college, she went on to co-host a morning show on WKKW-FM and anchor the morning news for several of WVRC’s properties.

Following eight years at the radio station, Lauren accepted a position at MVB Bank to assist with special projects and mortgage sales, before being promoted to Marketing Director in 2013. She decided to deepen her role in the financial world by moving on to Wells Fargo Advisors in 2014. Lauren earned her Series 7, Series 66 and insurance licenses to become a Financial Advisor with the firm.

In addition to operating her agency, Lauren is the Public Address Announcer for WVU Women’s Basketball. She can also be seen interacting with the crowd in between innings at WVU Baseball games and at various other WVU sporting events throughout the year.

​

Lauren is also very active in the local community. She is a past chair and current member of the WVU Children’s Hospital Gala Committee, a member of the local American Heart Association’s Heart Walk Committee, a member of Quota International and a former communications liaison for MountainFest.

During her "spare" time, Lauren enjoys reading, traveling and attending concerts. She especially enjoys anything involving sports, namely football, basketball and baseball. Lauren is an avid Yankees, Mountaineers and Steelers fan.
